This digital guide provides resources for teachers and schools to support their roles as learners ("Study"), educators ("Teach"), and global citizens ("Travel").  Two additional sections include resources that I've found useful and/or want to explore further and a collection of reflections on various themes related to global ed and learning.

"Global education" is learning with global competence in mind.  Globally competent students have the skills, knowledge, and mindsets to adapt to, explore, and take action in an ever-changing world.

Our primary role as educators is to prepare students for a future that we can neither know nor imagine with precision.  Educating for global competence - with proficiency in essential skills that may be applied locally as well as globally - ensures that students will be prepared to succeed in and contribute to a dynamic future.

GLOBALITERACY:  Big World, Small Classroom

"Globally competent students do more than collect knowledge about the world:  they seek to make a difference in the world.  Furthermore, they do not postpone their contributions for 'when I grow up'.  Rather, they see and create opportunities to act today - in their neighborhood or on the global stage.  Alone or in collaboration, ethically and creatively, globally competent students envision and weigh options for action based on evidence and insight.  They can assess the potential impact of their plans, taking into account varied perspectives and potential consequences for others.  And they demonstrate courage - in acting and in reflecting on their actions."         ~Asia Society
