Digital Learning Environment Inventory
This is the educator learning section of the digital guide. It includes resources that will support the novice global educator and challenge the more experienced global educator. The resources at the top are those that were required by Teachers for a Global Classroom. Those in the "gallery" at the bottom are the ones that I found most useful as I thought about global education from the perspective of a teacher, parent, and citizen. For more about curriculum development and assessment, see the "Teach" section. Images are linked to documents or web pages.

ABOUT
This is my assessment of Champlain Valley Union High School's technology department. (In short: it's amazing!) The school's tech professionals support educators and students and challenge us to use technology in new and creative ways.
This checklist is a useful tool to reflect on and improve global education. I would love to see this checklist (or a section of it) be the focus of a PLC meeting with the goal of identifying an area to improve and action steps.
Global Education Checklist
This document explains my thoughts about moving teachers along the SAMR continuum as well as review of certain tech tools.

The short film, "The World Is As Big or As Small As You Make It" was the single most inspiring resource I explored in the TGC course. It illustrated what I would like to do - in the classroom, with student travel, within the community, etc. - and how I hope it will impact students. This is an incredible piece of work!
This issue of Educational Leadership includes a number of articles about global education, including why it's important and what it looks like in schools and classrooms.
This Ed Leadership article focuses on many of the same competencies as the Asia Society's guide, but from the perspective of what business leaders are looking for in employees. For more on the ability to ask questions and engage in discussion, see the "QFT" and "Intercultural Praxis" resources in the "Teach" section of this guide.
